"But he plans to shuttle between New York and London as often as possible to see them.

The socialite announced in June that she was expecting a baby with the millionaire TV boss.
The couple looked at a private hospitals in West London so Lauren could give birth in the capital while Cowell worked. But the duo decided that it would be easier for Lauren to have the baby in New York so she could have the support of her mum.

B-town’s royal wedding

When Ahaana Deol took the saat pheras with Delhi businessman Vaibhav Vohra in a multi-cultural ceremony today, some of the biggest names in entertainment, business and politics were on the guest list.

The guests at the ceremony included Tina and Anil Ambani, Subroto Roy, Abhay Deol and Madhoo Shah. The reception was a star studded affair and Kirron Kher with son Sikandar Kher were the first ones to arrive. Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher, Jeetendra and Sonakshi Sinha followed.

The Bachchan family was in attendance with Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya making a grand entrance together. Rekha entered five minutes after the foursome. Baba Ramdev and Uddhav Thackeray also joined the celebrations.

Narendra Modi almost stole the newlyweds' thunder with a much anticipated nine-minute appearance. The wedding, presided over by the bride's beaming parents, Hema Malini and Dharmendra, and took place at a suburban hotel and combined Punjabi and Tamil rituals. The boisterous baraat led by Vaibhav's family danced their way to the venue from a nearby five star property and Ahaana's cousin Abhay with girlfriend Preeti Desai joined in and shook a leg.

The groom was welcomed by the bride's parents with Hema Malini sporting a traditional Kanjivaram from her collection of silk sarees while Dharmendra looked dapper in a suit, paired with a vibrant pink tie. Vaibhav chose a belted Sabyasachi sherwani for the big day and a double string of emeralds completed the groom's ensemble. The bride was resplendent in an elaborate Manish Malhotra outfit, in the colour scheme of fuschia and gold. The decor matched up to the pair's outfit with peacocks and candle lit gazebos.

Indra Kumar- Saroj reunite after 16 yrs

Saroj Khan made Madhuri Dixit go Dum dama dum in Indra Kumar's Dil and Dhak dhak in his Beta. And now 16 years later, the choreographer and the filmmaker have reunited for another song for his upcoming film, Super Nani. But this one has not been picturised on Madhuri Dixit but on Kumar's daughter Shweta. And it's not a provocatively sensual number but a classical song that Radha sings for Krishna in a temple.
"Sarojji was really thrilled to come on board and watching her I realised just what I'd been missing. She's still the best and I'm glad that at the end of the first day's shoot, she was really happy with Shweta."
Super Nani also stars Rekha, Ranbir Kapoor and Sharman Joshi.

Twinkle undergoes surgery

Twinkle Khanna was admitted at Breach Candy hospital late on Saturday after she complained of an unbearable pain in her stomach. The doctors have given her the necessary medication and will keep her under observation through the night.

A friend of the couple told Mirror that Akshay Kumar was by his wife's side all through and so was Twinkle's mother Dimple Kapadia. "In the morning when the reports came in it was diagnosed that there was a stone in her kidney and a quick decision was taken to get an immediate surgery done."

The operation was performed on Sunday afternoon and went off well. Said the friend, "Tina bhabhi is feeling much better and she might get discharged in a couple of days if all goes well. Akshay had a prior commitment on Sunday evening. He made a quick appearance at the Race Course before dashing back to the hospital.

Parineeti picks Jag over house

Last we heard, Parineeti Chopra was looking for a new house. Ask her if she has found her dream home yet and she giggles, "No, I blew up the money I'd saved on a Jaguar. So now I have my dream car but wil have to wait for my dream house."

The actress points out that growing up in Ambala, she is used to spacious bungalows and her current residence in the city does not match up. "Mumbai apartments are small and cramped. I am living on rent till I can find something better," she says.

So what keeps her rooted to Mumbai? Parineeti confesses it's the acting bug that has bit her. It's what she's grown to love even though her dad wanted her to be a doctor.

"For him it was either doctor or an engineer, there were no other career options" laughs the actress, admitting that when she told her father that she wanted to study business management he told her that only those who didn't want to study got into business.

However, he eventually gave in and sent her to London. "After I returned, I told him I wanted to act and he was like yeh kahan se aa gaya. But he didn't stop me," she recalls. Today he is proud of his little Pari but finds it difficult to put his joy into words. The actress admits that communication has always been a problem with her father and even though they speak everyday their telephone conversations last no more than 30 seconds.

"While mom and I can chat for hours, but with dad if I ever speak for more than 30 seconds I wonder if anything is wrong," she says. Meanwhile, Parineeti's once generous curves have shrunk. Has she finally realised that a heroine's waist size is as important as her talent for histrionics, if not more?

"It's not!" she retorts. "Today, the audience is reacting to the heroine's role as well. No one has a favourite actress anymore, which is great because it gives actresses like me an opportunity to experiment with the roles I want to do and not get stuck with a stereotyped image. Today, viewers go for films they want to see and are ready to give everyone a chance. Waist size should never be the criterion."

So what is? Kisses? After Emraan Hashmi, she seems to have become B-town's new serial kisser. After the steaming lip-locks in Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance, a kiss seems to have become an integral part of her movies. Even her upcoming rom-com Hasee To Phasee is being promoted with a kiss . Parineeti seems uncomfortable with the 'honour'. She says, "I've just kissed in three odd movies! You can give me the tag after I do it in 20 films. For now just wait and watch."

Sanjay and Vivek end their feud

After over a year of cold war, Vivek Oberoi and filmmaker Sanjay Gupta have finally made up for good. From what Mirror has learnt, the truce happened last week at producer Kumar Mangat's daughter's wedding.

An eyewitness told the newspaper, "Neither of the two knew that the other would be present. But when the two met, they spoke for almost an hour. There is no bad blood between the two anymore."

It may be recalled that the duo had an ugly spat back in 2013, when Vivek had allegedly walked out of Gupta's Shootout at Wadala despite an initial commitment, leading to a heated war of words.

Gupta had gone on record to say, "Vivek Oberoi is a joke which is not even funny anymore but his ridiculous statements make me laugh. I think he is the Prince of Ghaziabad who will get his KLPD."

However, it seems that the much talked about feud is history now. When we contacted Vivek, he said, "We've let bygones be bygones," adding that he wants to work with the filmmaker again.

Gupta responded with,"At heart, both Vivek and I are kids and that's why we behaved like school boys when we fought. But now, we've realised we have become fathers and it's time to grow up. In our business, fallouts are temporary and that's perhaps a nice thing. Life is too short to hold long grudges. All is forgiven and forgotten."

‘Ayaan is getting the best care in Canada’

Emraan Hashmi will be back in Mumbai to shoot for his film Mr X, from February 16," informs uncle Mahesh Bhatt, also imparting the reassuring news that the actor's four-year old son Ayaan who was diagnosed with a malignant tumour in his kidney, is responding well to treatment in Canada.

On the recommendation of the doctors who performed an emergency surgery on him in Mumbai, the actor flew out his son to Canada because according to reports, it has the best children's care in the world. "What not many of us are aware of is that when it comes to children, 90 per cent of cancer is curable. The treatment is regularised and Ayaan who is being given the mildest two-drug chemotherapy is doing well," says an ebullient Bhatt."

His mother, Praveen who has family there, will stay back in Canada with Ayaan. Emraan will fly there after he finishes with his film commitments in Mumbai. "After the anguish we faced, we have reason to believe that the dark night is behind us and Ayaan will be back with us in four months if not before," says Bhatt.

What's encouraging, he adds, is the way the film fraternity has come forward to stand by Emraan in his hour of need. "Akshay Kumar, who has a Canadian citizenship, called to offer his help. Our common friend, Ajay Virmani, who lives there, has also told us to call for anything we need. Strangers on the street stop me to say that they are offering prayers for Ayaan," says an emotional Bhatt. "At a time when we hear only about bad things happening to people, it's so heartening to see this ocean of goodness."
