MC Hammer joins Psy for a Gangnam style at AMA’s

They both created dance moves so strange that they took the world by storm. Hence, it’s not surprising that Psy, the Korean pop sensation and creator of the now-famous Gangnam Style and MC Hammer finally teamed up for a performance at the American Music Awards.
Taking to the stage at the Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening, MC Hammer joined the original creator of the Gangnam Style for a special version of the dance.
Stanley Kirk Burrell, better known as MC Hammer, is the latest celebrity to get into the craze, after Madonna, Andrew Garfield, Carrie Underwood. Susan Bovle and even Bruce Forsyth all performed the dance. Psy had all the honours of closing the music industry awards gala with his number one hit song, and was joined by the rapper half-way through the performance.
After yelling the infamous words, Stop, Hammertime, Psy was joined by the 50-year-old 90s hitmaker, who took to the stage with great enthusiasm and performed the crazy dance routine energetically.
In an ode to MC Hammer, the South Korean singer even wore the infamous ‘hammer pants’, better known as harem trousers, sported by the rapper in his U Can’t Touch This video.
