Shahid Kapoor, who in his own words was 'jobless' for a long time is back in action. With co-star Ileana D'cruz as the pillion, the actor was spotted shooting Tips Films' Phata Poster Nikla Hero directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi in the black lanes of Lokhandwala, Andheri yesterday.
Surely, the actor who was reportedly shown the door by Maneesh Sharma who had been considering him for an YRF project, has left the past behind. In a cop's uniform, he looked fresh out of a rigorous gym schedule.
A source from the sets on condition of anonymity told Mirror, "The scene that was shot in Lokhandwala is a chase sequence. Goons start misbehaving with Ileana on the road and she calls out for help from Shahid, who plays a cop in the film."
