After the Bo failure of Joker, and what was rumoured as his ouster from Sajid Nadiadwala's remake of the South film Kick, Shirish Kunder has been keeping a low profile. For nearly two-and-a-half months, the editor-turned-filmmaker had kept himself awaay from the spotlight, spending time with his children. However, Shirish is now getting up to return to what he does best: editing. We hear KJo has roped him as editor for his next Ungli being directed by Rensil D'silva. A source told Mirror, "The films Shirish directed weren't successful at the box office but when it comes to editing, he is known to be good at his work. Karan understands that and has signed him on to edit Ungli." So will we see a new, improved Shirish? Only time can tell.
