Anurag bags a Rs 12-cr film deal

 After the success of Barfi!, Anurag Basu is much in demand. The director already has two films lined up with Ranbir Kapoor and now Bhushan Kumar, the head honcho of T-Series, has signed him for a whopping Rs 12 crore. Kumar has also offered Basu a share in the profit (if any).
 A source told Mumbai Mirror: "A deal has been signed between the two and Anurag has been offered Rs 12 crore and a partnership. The project details will be discussed soon."

The film will be jointly produced by T-series and Basu's Picture Shuru Productions.

"Anurag is busy with Jagga Jasoosand after that he will be doing a film based on the life of Kishore Kumar. Bhushan, on the other hand, has been on a signing spree. He has roped in quite a few talented directors in an attempt to create strong slate for his banner, " he added.
Kumar's upcoming ventures include four film with Umesh Shukla, Bhootnath 2 in association with BR Chopra banner, Creature 3D with Vikram Bhatt, Roy with Vicky Singh and a sequel to Dil Hain Ke Manta Nahin. He also has films with Madhur Bhandarkar, Mohit Suri and Milan Luthria
