After Vanilla Sky, the actresses are teaming up again for a Ridley Scott film.
Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz can be seen lounging topless alongside each other in the trailer of their upcoming flick The Counsellor. The still shows the actresses relaxing with a cocktail at what seems to be a spa resort.
The
highly anticipated Ridley Scott thriller stars Diaz as Malkina and Cruz
as Laura. The film also stars Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and John
Leguizamo. The thriller marks the first on-screen reunion between
husband-and-wife Penelope and Javier since 2008's Vicky Cristina
Barcelona and also reunites Brad with Ridley for the first time since
1991's cult classic Thelma & Louise.
The two glamorous
actresses played love rivals in Cameron Crowe's 2001 hit romantic drama
Vanilla Sky alongside the film's leading man, Tom Cruise 12 years ago.
Bubbly blonde Cameron played Cruise's character David Aames's obsessed
former girlfriend Julie Gianni, while Penelope portrayed his love
interest Sofia Serrano.
