Idnaani says that he didn't leak Vedita's picture that made its way onto the cover of a porn DVD.
Vedita claimed Vicky had called
her, saying he wanted to do a photo-shoot with her and would circulate
her pictures in prominent magazines and on websites. She said that after
the shoot, she never got to see her pictures, except for one where she
is draped in a saree... until the day she stumbled upon the XX film DVD.
She said that whenever she called Vicky, he would text her saying he
was busy.
Now, Vicky has come out in strong protest, calling
Vedita's allegations baseless and unfounded. According to him, the photo
shoot wasn't a portfolio shoot but one that was done at his studio with
the entire cost borne by him, and there was a clear understanding that
he would sell the pictures to various reputed Bollywood media outlets to
recover the costs incurred by him. Vicky said Vedita's claim that he
wasn't accessible to her is completely untrue as they have been
regularly in touch until recently.
"Vedita called me on my mobile twice on July 9 to tell me she had stumbled upon her picture on the cover of a porn DVD. I suggested she contact the police and even offered to accompany her to the police station. I am a professional photographer and circulate images of top models, actors, singers and filmmakers to India's leading magazines, daily newspapers, publicity agents and websites," Vicky said, adding, "I would like to clarify that this image was not leaked by me or from my studio. I am very hurt and upset that Vedita has falsely dragged my name into this controversy, which has damaged my personal and professional reputation," he added. On Wednesday, July 10, this newspaper had reported that starlet Vedita Pratap Singh was horrified to see one of the pictures from her portfolio - shot by photographer Vicky Idnani eight months ago - on the front cover of a porn DVD titled Nasha Jism Ka.
