Vivaan Shah in Happy New Year

 A source said: "Vivaan has landed a dream role. He will be acting with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani. And this is just his second film."

For the past four months, Farah was looking for an actor to fit the bill and Vivaan was chosen from among more than 100 applicants who auditioned for the role.
The source added: "His footage was outstanding. He has the freshness and spontaneity required for the role."

The movie is set to go on floors on September 1 and the first schedule will be shot in Dubai.

Farah remained unavailable for comment. Farah's hunt for a 18-year-old boy ends with Naseeruddin's son.

Farah Khan, who was on the hunt for an actor to fit into the shoes of an 18-year-old in her next film Happy New Year, has finally found a match. She has signed Vivaan Shah, son of Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, who was previously seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's 7 Khoon Maaf (2011).
