Fast and Furious Vin coming to India

 

Hollywood actor Vin Diesel is coming to India but he is not on soul searching trip to the ‘exotic orient’. The Fast and Furious star will be in the country to promote his upcoming film, Riddick. Set for a September 6 release, the film has been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Though the plan is very hush-hush, Mirror has learnt that the actor, who is in negotiations to join Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, is expected to land on September 2.

A source told Mirror, “It’s a very short trip. He will be in India for two to three days. He will first visit Udaipur for a day before visiting Mumbai.”

Riddick is the third movie instalment of the franchise and will see Diesel reprising the title role. The film also produced by the action hero, is written and directed by David Twohy who also helmed the first two instalments, Pitch Black (2000) and The Chronicles of Riddick (2004).

A source added, “This will be the actor’s maiden visit to India. His team has already flown down to Udaipur and done a recce of some of the top hotels there. No expenses are being spared to make his stay comfortable.”
