Star shines down

With an upcoming release and an equally headline grabbing love life, this is the right time for Ranbir Kapoor to get into the good books of the Vighneshwar. And he made a pretty good attempt when he turned up to pay tribute to Lalbaugcha Raja with music director Shankar Mahadevan in tow last evening.
The actor arrived for the Maha Aarti through the VIP entrance with a slew of bouncers and spent a good 40 minutes in the pandal. He soon had the crowd eating out of his hands as he mingled with the camera totting fans.
Unlike other Bollywood biggies, Ranbir has never been spotted pandal hopping until now, chosing to ring in Ganesh Chathurthi quietly at his Bandra bungalow.
