No show with Neil for Sonal?

Sonal Chauhan and Neil Nitin Mukesh, who hit splitsville early last year, have not been best of friends since. According to a source the Jannat actress recently backed out of an event to avoid running into her ex.

Sonal had consented to attend a kids' fashion show but just two hours before the event was scheduled to begin, she called up the officials and informed that she would not be able to make it. Interestingly, the showstopper was none other than the light-eyed Neil.

A member from the organising team told Mirror, "Sonal had confirmed to be a part of the event. We got Neil's confirmation at the last moment and informed all the guests, including Sonal, that he would be the showstopper. She did not voice any discontent then."

Her backing out at the last moment came as a surprise. "Her manager called to say that Sonal is busy with other commitments. We had sent out invites with her name,"groused the organisor. 

When we sent a text message to Sonal, her spokesperson clarified, "Sonal was invited for the fashion show by the designer. She was hoping to make it for the show but she had to shoot for a magazine cover on the same day and unfortunately, the shoot went on till late. So Sonal couldn't make it to the show. She even sent a message to the designer apologising for her non-attendance."
