'Clinton-Hurley affair' a drug- induced rant?

Liz Hurley thanked fans for standing by her last night as claims she had an affair with Bill Clinton while he was US President were exposed as a pack of lies.

It came as her ex lover Sizemore issued a grovelling apology to the British actress. Sizemore appeared on HuffPost Live Wednesday to categorically refute his previous words, attributing them to "the ravings of a grug-addicted actor."

He explained that the audio came from an old video tape when he was battling drug addiction. Sitting with his British manager Charles Lago, Sizemore apologised profusely, saying he lied about even going to the White House.

Sizemore said: "I'm not denying I said those things. It an old video and they are the rantings of a guy who had a very severe drug problem. It's an old tape. I wasn't willingly video taped but those were the kind of folks I was hanging around with before I went to celebrity rehab and started to get straightened out."
