Given that her husband Govinda has had a love-hate relationship for the longest time with the weighing scale as well as fashion trends,when we heard that Sunita Ahuja is ready to launch a clothing store for plus-size women, we weren't surprised. The store will also have a special section for young girls that will stock products handpicked by Sunita.
A source told Mirror, "Sunita has been toying with this idea for a long time but she never really made a serious effort till now. She travelled to various places, picked up stuff not easily available in India. She even designed some clothes herself. And now, her dream has taken shape."
Apparently, it was Sunita's personal shopping experience that made her want to open a special clothing store that will cater to women in bigger sizes.
"You don't get clothes for my age and size. That's where this idea came from. The pricing is very affordable. In fact the kurtis that will be available in my store have been designed by me since I like wearing them," Sunita told us when contacted.
The store will be launched in Juhu on a huge scale and Govinda will be a part of the grand opening.
