Apparently, the actor, who has been training hard for over a year to get under the skin of The Flying Sikh, will have to continue wearing his running shoes for the next two months. Reason is two songs and a few scenes of Shaadi Ke Side Effects directed by Saket Chaudhary and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, remain to be shot, and Farhan simply cannot afford to regain any of the weight he had lost during the filming of the second half of Bhaag...
A source told Mirror: "Farhan has been told that if he stops his running and other exercises at this juncture, he will put on the kilos all over again. And this would disturb the continuity of his next film, which had started right after Bhaag...."
Farhan wants to ensure this problem doesn't occur, pointed out the source, adding, "It is better to be safe than sorry, and hence, he is following his physical trainer Samir Jaura's instructions to the T."
And that's not all. He has to also follow a strict diet comprising brown bread and egg whites as breakfast, two soya rotis for lunch along with green vegetables, a glass of juice or a fruit plate in the evening, and dinner consisting of simply green salad or fish. Also, he has to abstain from hard drinks.
When contacted, Jaura confirmed the news and said: "Exercise is like friendship; you should always start where you left off." Farhan Akhtar has to continue with his 'Milkha' diet and exercise regimen to avoid discontinuity in the filming of his next.
