Zinta has been going through a rough patch ever since her first production venture, Ishkq in Paris, bombed at the box office landing the actress in huge debts. Abbas Tyrewala, who was commissioned to write the dialogues for the film filed a case against her after a cheque worth Rs 18.9 lakh bounced. The warrant was issued after Zinta failed to mark her presence in court in spite of repeated orders. She was slapped fines worth Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,000 for failing to appear before the concerned magistrate on two occasions.
